Primal Steam: Rippers by TormentedArtifacts Primal Steam: Rippers by TormentedArtifacts
The glove itself fit perfectly, until the figers suddenly clamped down of their own free will onto her fingertips- a moment of fierce, crushing pain, and then nothing- they moved like they were simply natural extensions of her own fingers. A brief smile lit her face, and then she experimentally dragged the claws over the surface of the brick wall near her, leaving behind four deep gouges.

"Oh yes," she breathed. "These will definitely do the job nicely."

This is a rebuilt item- these first appeared in the Fannish Fetish Fashion Show at Norwescon 2011, though at the time, the glove portions were all done in heavy-grade neoprene rubber. Unfortunately, the model using them had incredibly tiny hands, so they needed to get redone in leather for a more practical sizing.

Media: Leather, brass rivets, brass balinese tribal dance claws (reshaped to curve downwards)

These are available for sale, either singly or as a pair. Contact me by not or email if you're interested.

Wow, they're the closest to the concept that I was looking for.
It's a shame that I've already got a replacement.

I think you need a different maker- I've got zero interest in doing that kind of mechanical work.

They're more pointy and scratchy than sharp and cutting- you'd likely need a heavier metal to get that kind of result.

They're very pointy and scratchy, but otherwise, not that sharp- you're certainly not going to be slicing through stuff with these or anything.

How much for the pair? BTW I may order a few items from you... Can you combine postage to the uk?

These are 180 for a set, not combining shipping- fair warning though- I don't have any in stock currently, so I'd be custom building a set for you- which may take an extra week or two while I'm waiting for the claw tips to come in.

And yes, I can totally combine postage on stuff- just let me know what all you want to order, and we can go from there.

They're Thai- unfortunately I don't know the actual name for them , but you can find them all over Ebay and other places, listed as "Thai Bellydance claws" or just "Thai Brass Fingernails." They've had some aftermarket modifications, though, including recurving the tips so they go downwards instead of up.

Simpler solution- buy a pair. I do make these for sale, and no, I hate to be an ass about it, but I don't make tutorials. If you want to make one of my creations for yourself, then you'll have to do it the same way- trial, effort, and a lot of hard work. Good Luck.

No worries- it's hidden in the description a bit- anyways, if you're interested in purchasing custom works from me, the best policy is usually to send me a note here on DA, or email. As for this one, I'll be upfront and admit it's a bit pricey, since these are made to be custom fitted to the wearer- they run at $120 singly or $220 for a pair, not counting for shipping and handling. Now I can do payment plans and such, if that helps, but I usually require 50% down in order to cover materials and some of the labor. Anyways, if you're still interested, feel free to drop me a note, and we can discuss things further from there.
