Arcanepunk: The Vigilante Belt by TormentedArtifacts Arcanepunk: The Vigilante Belt by TormentedArtifacts
"I am vengeance. I am the night. I am...."

Yes, I had to do it. It's a belt designed for a steampunk or arcanepunk iteration of a certain Caped Crusader.

Plenty of space for holding all your necessary crimefighting tools.

(Sorry, grappling gun, flying-mammal-shaped shuriken, and other items NOT included)

Media: All leather

This piece is available for private sale. If you're interested, drop me a not or message, please.

Those are called swing clasps. They're generally available through most leatherworking supply shops, like Tandy.

Are you using Tandy Leather for your hides?  Also why rivets vs using Chicago Screws?

I go through either tandy or Macpherson, depending on the price and quality at the time.

As for why rivets, well, chicago screws can look nice, but I prefer the look of clean riveting. Also, no matter how tightly you set them, screws still have a chance of coming unscrewed.

$180 (US, of course)- I know, it's big. I am willing to do a layaway plan on this one, if need be.

Quail actually (I know, not really in character), and it's a resin-cast reproduction, not the real thing.

Quail Man is also a "super hero". lol. Though not a very well known one unless you watched old Saturday morning cartoons.

...well, while it is cheaper than 250 Euros, yeah, it's not the most inexpensive piece I've ever done. That's certainly true.

Also, you can always use the term the Mythbusters came up with: Nocturnal Echolocation-using Flying Mammal Man.
