Arcanepunk: Invocator's Badge by TormentedArtifacts Arcanepunk: Invocator's Badge by TormentedArtifacts
"This is it, ladies and gentlemen. The moment you've been training for for the last tree years. Those of you who pass these final examinations will win this- your badge of office as a Royal Invocator. This will mark you to the rest of the world as one of the frontline against the invasion...."

-Commandant Markham, in his speech to the first graduating class at the Academy

This piece is designed as a lapel or otherwise decorative pin.

Media: Brass! (And a bit of resin-epoxy for the pin in back)

This piece has been sold, and unfortunately, I'm not taking commissions for more right now, due to a shortage of mini-astrolabe parts.

(Added note- this piece is now being featured as the current avatar for the brand new :iconsteampunk-club:! Go check them out!)

Reminds me of my astrolabe... the dials salvaged from such an item?

Actually, you're dead on- they came from a necklace-sized astrolabe that had lost the pin connecting the rings together.

Heh. Well, one of these days....

Anyways, usual routine- drop me a note if you want it. (I say this only because I really need to cash for the trip to portland at this point, otherwise, I'd be keeping this one for myself)
